DSL internet channels help?
I am having a hell of a time with my internet. the power setting is 10 10 and my computer is getting a low signal if its even getting a signal at all. I cant play online games do to lag and dis connects, and its frustrating to even surf the web due to web sites timing out and server not found errors. I have contacted tech support and they were no help. The only thing i can think of is to change the channel because other internet's may be using the same channel as mine or things like cordless phones could be disrupting my connection. I read that somewhere so my question is, what channel will give my the best performance? if anyone knows please tell me. I'm pulling my hair out. I have 2 wire, and what may also be causing this problem is that my modem is in the basement and my computer is on the 2nd floor.

How do I change internet channels?
When I'm at school and I'm using the WiFi on our laptops, my WiFi runs slow. I looked at the congestion analysis and the channel I'm using 11 is very congested and the bar is almost always in the red while 1 10 are always very low like no ones using them.
