Why does my computer freak out every time I try to watch a tv show online?
It doesn't matter what I try to watch. Whether it's on hulu, or mtv, or netflix, or anything. My computer completely freaks out about half way through. First, the video starts to lag and only gets worse. Then, an annoying buzzing starts. Finally, it freezes up my entire computer for about 10 minutes. It's really a pain, and I'm getting extremely frustrated. All other websites work perfectly normal. It's only while watching a video that it acts up. But short videos like on youtube work fine.
How many MB are downloaded if you watch a full episode of a tv show online?
I use satellite internet so I have a certain amount of MB I can download with my threshold. Any help greatly appreciated

Is watching TV shows online the same as downloading them? If it's say, 150mb per episode are you using 150mb of your download if you're just watching it online?I didn't mean that I thought I'd have it on my computer if I watched it online.I meant will it use up the same amount of my download, because I have bigpond and it slows after I use it all up.
Why wont my internet let me watch movies and tv shows online anymore?
My internet wont let me watch movies or tv shows online anymore, i used to have no problem but very recently when i go onto sites such as letmewatchthis or projectfreetv and I click a link to watch an episode it comes up saying '' an error has occured'' or more frequently '' This content server has been temporarily disabled for upgrades'' i have no idea what that means . If anyone knows how to solve this please help me out

does anyone know anything about iReel...ireel.com? im trying to find 7th heaven episodes to watch and I found this site. It says it's absolutly free, i just have to become a member. It's asking for my credit card number to varify im a US or Canadian recident and says nothing will be charged to my card. I'm just wondering if anyones used it before and if it really is safe, do they really not charge anything to your credit card?

I know that there is a HUGE discussion about this topic all over the net but here's my point the tv show was already free if you're paying the cable company so, is it piracy to WATCH it online? Some may say yes because you are taking revenue from the company. Some would say no because it is a copy and is not being downloaded. Now, I feel that watching a movie online is somewhat piracy because you're only supposed to find it in theaters. But I see how it's not piracy if you really don't care to support the actors producers etc. and would just like to view the film or listen to the cd, for instance . Basically, I just want to watch anime and read manga online. I do not want to download it, because it serves no purpose on my hard drive if I could stream it online. I pretty much answered my own question but I just wanted to know what people thought on the whole piracy situation. Also, yes, there are sites such as hulu.com where tv shows and movie viewing is free but they have advertisers that pay the pirates for their products to be shown. P I will not support these sites because I could do that. I could have my friend's company hypothetical pay me to show his product during a film that I downloaded from the internet. The movie company makes no money, my friend is now rich. I'll use hulu.com's Bleach page as an example " New episodes are posted one week after they air in Japan. Streaming rights to the dubbed version of this series aren't available at this time, but we will continue to pursue both dubbed and subtitled versions of all anime series." Translation " We are pirates, buy our friend's products because they paid us." JoelKatz, I see your point. So if I like the movie I streamed online and go see it, then I'm okay? Could I still stream it? update Alright I'm starting to get it now. I always had a feeling about piracy and I pretty much just wanted to justify watching anime online. So in the end, it's stealing, piracy, and punishable by law, correct? unless it's from a site like hulu.com
